Are Women from Venus & Men from Mars?

Updated: Jan 8, 2019

Oh yes! I have come to the conclusion that women and men have different cultures just like nations do :). Men tend to fuel energy in the outside world, women at home. Men have a single-focus mind while women tend to have a multi-focus attention. The male body is turned on by other things than the female body.

We have to honor both so we all can truly thrive, stay healthy on all levels – mind, body, emotions, and soul – and unfold all aspects of ourselves.

We women tend to adapt ourselves too much to our environments and the people we spend time with.

They then have a hard time reading our needs and may overstep our boundaries. But how could we blame them?

I used to blame myself for this. Now I know that we have this ability to adapt because we are the ones who can be mothers. Mothers cannot have too many boundaries. How else would they be able to "just know" what their babies need?

But we have to be clear about what we want and need.

Once we do, our environment, including our partners, will do everything in their power to support us. All we have to do is remember how important it is to listen to what we need and gently bring it into our lives. Unapologetically; but also without force … it has to happen in a feminine way, in a gentle and soft way and without thinking it is selfish to do so.

The better we feel, the better everyone around us feels.

Because now we have so much to give. A great way to start listening to your needs are guided meditations where you draw your senses inward. In the Yogic and Ayurvedic tradition, sensory withdrawal is practiced in order to control our mind, to quiet the voice on the inside of our head and tune in with ourselves.
