We all know that the choices we make as consumers are powerful.

Having worked in the sustainability field for seven years though made me understand that what is true in life is also true here:

perfect is the enemy of the good!


In an imperfect world, we can't always make the right choices.

But this does not mean that we don't keep on trying.

I I buy what I want to see more of in the world. I try to support fair, local, green small businesses and eat organic, natural, seasonal, and wholesome food whenever possible. But sometimes, it is not possible, be this due to financial restraints, a lack of knowledge, or whatever else. And that's ok, too. What is especially not possible is doing justice to ALL aspects with every purchase because: dhid you for instance know that buying organic food can harm the environment? Or that plastic bags migt be better for the environment than paper bags after all? I knowww!!!

That's why I want to start sharing my research. Here are some brands I like.


What we urgently need is change on a bigger scale: on the systemic level, consider supporting organizations which are fighting for this like the Citizens' Climate Lobby
